It’s time to slow down, take in the spring air and enjoy the views and vistas along the gentle seaside.
This unique self-guided rain or shine tour of 4 homes and 4 gardens offers a delightful insider’s view of the Mahone Bay area.
All this while you support the Mahone Bay Museum – a great cause!

How to pick up your 2024 Home & Garden Tour Guide Map
To receive a Tour Guide Map / Ticket, present either your receipt (from Evenbrite or confirmation of your etransfer) or your physical ticket from Kinburn Pharmasave to either the Mahone Bay Visitors Information Centre at 165 Edgewater Street or Mahone Bay Museum at 578 Main Street from

June 7th: Noon – 4 pm
June 8th: 9 am – 4 pm
June 9th: 9 am – 2 pm

What you need to know
Tour properties will be open Saturday June 8th and Sunday June 9th from 10am to 5pm only to visit in person with your ticket/map for entry.
You are welcome to visit all the sites in one day or split up the properties over two days. You are only permitted to enter a property once. Please respect the tour operation hours of 10am to 5pm.
Ticket holders drive or walk to each property. Please note, once at the tour site, volunteers will provide information on the properties.
Please note, shoes will not be allowed in the homes.
Please bring a bag to carry your shoes.
Photography in the homes is not permitted.

The Mahone Bay Museum is a small community museum run by the registered non-profit charity known as the Mahone Bay Founders Society. We protect and provide on-site and online access to the history of the Mahone Bay area to save it from becoming forgotten or lost for the benefit of future generations.
