An exhibit exploring the Begin family, one of the Founding Families of Mahone Bay, and their connection to the Museum, the Bluenose, and the local community.
The Mahone Bay Museum is located on unceded land in the territory of Mi’kma’ki. ‘L’Nu’k,’ meaning ‘the people’ in the Mi’kmaw language, have occupied and honoured these lands for over 10,000 years. For more information about our Mi’kmaw history, click here.
The Mahone Bay Museum protects and offers access to collections that represent the rich history of the region for the benefit of current and future generations.
