Join us on August 3rd from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at Mahone Bay’s St. James Anglican Church for a presentation by Dr. Kenneth S. Paulsen on the Anglican, Lutheran, and Calvinist origins of faith in Mahone Bay, Lunenburg, and surrounding area.
Masks will be required in the Church during the presentation.
Admission is by donation at the door. Proceeds will be evenly split between the Mahone Bay Founders Society and the South Shore Genealogical Society.
RSVPs are highly encouraged, as seating is limited.

We’re so pleased to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the launching of the “Bluenose” in Lunenburg with this video featuring information on two of it’s Mahone Bay riggers: Charles Begin and Freeman Mader. Special thanks to the descendants of these two men for providing additional information and images to this project.
