There are multiple ways to donate!
Consider using PayPal Giving Fund with Paypal account or a credit card here where we receive 100% of the funds and you receive a tax receipt automatically from Paypal: https://www.paypal.com/ca/fundraiser/charity/3476650
The next best option is an E-transfer from your online banking to info@mahonebaymuseum.com with “donation” in the message and no password should be required. We receive 100% of the funds but we will need to pay to have a tax receipt prepared for you for donations over $20. Include your mailing address in the message in order to receive your tax receipt by mail.
A cheque by mail to the Mahone Bay Founders Society at PO Box 583, Mahone Bay, NS B0J 2E0 is also acceptable and we received 100% of the funds but this method requires more administration time and for us to pay to have a tax receipt prepared for you for donations over $20.
Want your donation to go towards one of our specific projects rather than make a general donation? We lose a small percent of the donation (2.2% to Paypal fees) and will have to pay to have your tax receipt prepared for donations over $20.
