Archival Collection

The Mahone Bay Museum has an archival collection containing photographs, postcards, and documents pertaining to Mahone Bay’s history.

From January 2017 to March 2017, we processed some of our archival holdings thanks to the funding we received from a grant from the

through the Documentary Heritage Communities Program (DHCP).

Below are scans of a selection of original photographs that we have processed during this 2017 DHCP grant. We have divided them into four sections:

  • A Selection of Identified People and Places
  • A Selection of Unidentified People and Places
  • Photographs from the Second World War c.1939-1945
  • An Unidentified Photo Album c.1925

Place you cursor over a photo to see a caption.
We suggest right-clicking on a photo and opening it in a new tab to enlarge it.
